There’s a lot more to a company than it’s PERE ranking. I’ve passed on a top 10 fund because I didn’t jive with the team.

Also in OPs case BentallGreenOak is a mash up of Bentall Kennedy and Green Oak real estate - two entirely different companies before the merger. The two companies definitely have different reputations pre merger, so the team you would be working on matters. This is why people ask questions like this

Yeah this is why I always think it's stupid when someone mentions they work at "Top 25 PERE firm"... LaSalle and TPG are both in the top 25. It's just a meaningless title.

Also no beef to LaSalle or PGIM. Good companies, but there is a big difference between those companies and TPG, Centerbridge, etc. in terms of pay and status with recruiters
