Tips for succeeding in the exit process

We are starting an exit process with our ~€200m logistics portfolio, and I will have majority of the responsibility of driving this through. What tips would you give, e.g., to which things to focus on and how to succeed in the process? What is expected from me (currently a recently promoted associate) and how I could exceed expectations? Would warmly welcome your experiences and everything useful on this
