You could reach out to your brokers in your market to ask for an introduction to brokers in other markets. A number of firms are trying to position themselves as full service firms and encouraging producers to share info. If you reach out to existing contacts at shops like JLL, Eastdil, Newmark, etc you should be able to have them introduce you to brokers in other markets.

All shops with great teams on the multi side in different markets.

I tend to think of JLL 1st because most of my mentors have been ex HFF guys. Have also had mentors from Eastdil and I think highly of Newmark given the platform they’ve built. Regardless though all the big shops should have good teams, just depends on the exact market.

Most Helpful

Tampa and Orlando - Newmark and W&D.

Southeast Florida Region - CBRE, W&D and Newmark.

Nashville - Newmark and W&D.

Charlotte/Raleigh - Newmark, Northmarq, JLL and W&D.

Las Vegas - Northmarq and CBRE.

Generally every major brokerage has a presence in these markets but these typically these have been the market leaders in the institutional multifamily space the last 3-4 years at least.

Can't help on Chicago as our firm does not buy there.
