Currently working at a family office with a focus on Industrial and Multifam value-add (portfolio has a bit of everything). Our deal size is typically in the $10-20M range. Due to some familial stuff I am looking at relocating to Toronto.
I'm having a hard time finding groups that operate in this space as much of it seems institutional. I'm used to operating on a pretty lean team and having my hands on the entire deal process. I know Kingsett has a value-add growth fund but don't know a ton about it. I'm very happy at my current role and if it wasn't for personal stuff I wouldn't be moving.
Any tips on how to seek out roles similar to mine? Alternatively, if anyone is familiar with groups/teams would you mind sharing?
