Traditional REIT Accounting Metrics
Have an interview for a private healthcare REIT tomorrow for an AM & PM Analyst role. Job description says the candidate should have a deep understanding of the Traditional REIT accounting metrics.
The only thing I can think of is requirements for a REIT, min 100 shareholders, 5/50 rule, 90% of the taxable income goes to the shareholders.
FFO, NAV, same store metrics, TRS, those are some reit accounting terms you should know. Especially how FFO differs from GAAP net income
FFO, AFFO and NAV are the big ones.
