Having spent time in acq and asset management at name-brand RE operators, I'm now interested in an allocator type role. I think I'll learn most in a real estate credit role, but these job descriptions seem to be asking for past experience specifically in debt. Will I have to take a pay cut / title demotion to get into RE credit?
