Two offers
Fortunate enough to have two great offers on the table albeit slightly different parts of real estate. Currently a 2nd yr analyst at a balance sheet lender in NYC.
1. Associate - Canadian Bank - CMBS Originations
- $110k base
- Up to 50% bonus
2. Analyst - Large Real Estate Private Equity Firm - Acquisitions Analyst
- $90k base
- 50% - 100% bonus
Its hard leaving money on the table but I think REPE would open up more doors in the long run and also won't pigeon hole me in originations. Plus I like the culture at the REPE more than the Bank.
Any input would be much appreciated
You just stated in the thread below this that you turned down the CMBS position...
Offer was expiring today - ended up declining. Post never got uploaded on friday
Bbbusted.....
Must be a top firm for 180K all in as an analyst...? Pick door #2.
This wasn't even close. Option #2 all the way. Enjoy your time at Blackstone/Carlyle.
