Valuations or Small PE Firm?
Without giving away too much detail, what would you guys do? Just out of UG with 1 year of exp.
1) Valuations at widely know firm name
2) AM at a small PE firm (Under 20 employees), More money
What are the pro's and con's I should be looking at besides the salary differences? Thank you!
I would focus more on AUM/Fund Sizes vs headcount. If you want to work in PE long term, it probably makes most sense to take the PE role now.
