Vetting Term Sheets
We recently opened up some dialogue with the greater market and have been fortunate enough to receive a few term sheet offers for our Ground Up Spec/Development and our existing assets. Question: How have you in the past verify quality terms in these offers as there is a high variability from these REPE firms to say REIT Subsidiaries (Terms).
I'm trying to avoid reaching out to brokers as we have a sensitive internal process that doesn't allow for DD, which is brutal.
Are you asking about vetting the reputation of the group making the offer?
