Walker Dunlop- Anybody here a previous summer intern?

I am interested in interning over the summer at Walker&Dunlop, anybody here familiar with their capital markets summer internships and is kind enough to share their experience? Would really appreciate any help. Thank you!

No but I have worked with these guys several times and every time I do I want to poke my eyes out. If you want to work in RE Capital markets it could be a decent spot to intern.

Thank you! The only thing I am confused about is what does a "capital markets" analyst at a shop like Walker and Dunlop do versus their underwriting/production team. Because, the capital markets internship description does sound exactly like an underwriting or production role- Reviewing/preparing cash flow models using Excel and calculating investment returns, assisting in writing of investment memos, identifying and pursing business leads, reviewing rent rolls, leases, researching markets, etc

And side note- why did you want to poke your eyes out? How are they different from any other high volume multifamily shop like Berkadia, Arbor, Hunt, etc?
