(Washington, DC) Looking For CRE Professionals For Informational Interview
Hi all,
27 y.o. trying to break into CRE in the DC market - would anybody here at an associate level or higher let me speak to you for an informational interview (and speaking candidly, potential roles)? Determined to get into a CB/JLL/CW firm as a commercial broker (particularly office space asset, but not certain). Only have unrelated BA from 2016 but expanding network any way I can with hiring markets poised to reopen amid COVID restrictions rolling back.
Have been a long-time poster on WSO under a different account and am in love with the community (for better or worse).
You will have better luck reaching out to brokers directly.
It’s a “salesy”, in-person business. I know (at some firms) for analyst positions they don’t post online. They fill positions with people who reach out directly

You should join NAIOP, I think they are very active in DC, should be easy to find people to talk to there
