Wells Fargo CRE Comp
Does anyone know if Wells Fargo CRE analysts/associates all have the same base structure within the different groups? Bonuses? If anyone had any data points it would be super appreciated.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's what can be inferred about Wells Fargo Commercial Real Estate (CRE) compensation:
Base Salary: The information provided suggests that for the Wells Fargo Financial Analyst Program in Commercial Banking, which could include CRE divisions, the compensation structure is as follows:
Sign-On Bonus:
Year-End Bonus:
It's important to note that these figures are for the Financial Analyst Program and may not directly translate to all CRE analysts/associates, but they do provide a general idea of the compensation structure at Wells Fargo in the commercial banking sector. For specific CRE compensation, it would be beneficial to look at more targeted data points within that division.

Anyone have any data points?
I believe CRE is within the investment bank now, although that may just be “specialized real estate, so healthcare and life science.
Syndications is for sure part of the IB
100k starting ~10-15% bonus, increments of 10-25k total comps increases (including bonus) per year.
Any idea what VPs are getting?
False. 110K is starting base for 1st year analysts. Then 10K inflation bump for 2nd years. Associates are at 150K base. Bonuses are rather unimpressive (10-15%).
This is for analysts and associates.
Source: Worked at Wells Fargo for 4 years up until this year.
Do you know the base for VP's and Director's? Appreciate it.
I work in this position though. What specific office/sector are you talking about. I'm talking about CRE analyst.
Talking Bout NYC office. Keep in mind that not all Wells CRE groups have same bases (even if in same city). For example, RECM’s base is higher than REB.
Strictly CRE, and not REGAL group. RESCM and syndications pays the most. I wouldn’t do REB, not a great experience anymore. It’s essentially just portfolio management now. Syndications and RESCM are the best CRE groups in terms of deal flow and experience. HFG is very good too. They’ve sent people to top hotel shops. Pay is best in RESCM and syndications but probably better in syndication tbh. REGAL is best pay by far and the best experience.
What about MFC? Head WLB can be pretty good and pay is not too bad too? How does the pay compare to other groups? Thank you.
I would say exits from this group are terrible. People usually exit to other DUS lenders. Most equity or debt shops will see you as an agency person.
Any info on RESCM bonus % for a 1st year analyst?
~20%
~20% in the CRE groups (originations/UW) but a lot more in securitization in NYC. good year is close to the IB pay buckets if you're working on SASB, CLO, GSE and conduits
What do exit ops and bonuses look like for RESCM and Syndications?
RESCM comp depends on if you are securitization or origination/uw but seen people exit to some of the top firms. Can’t speak to syndications.
Exit ops for Securitization include - REPE, B-Piece Buyers, Opportunistic Debt Funds, Brookfield, Related, other debt funds (CLOs), Repo groups, originations jobs, etc.
I cannot speak about syndications as well.
Any insights on MFC comp for 1st yr analysts? Saw on another thread that it was 95 total (85k base + 10k bonus) 3 years ago. Curious if that has been increased since then.
Base is 110 now I believe
