What do analysts in Brokerage actually do?

Just curious as to what responsibilities the analysts at shops like JLL or Eastdil do that actually keeps them so busy. From what I can understand - they coordinate responses on questions between buyer and seller, and work on OM’s. Where is the rest of the hours you guys work coming from?

Multif@mily4Life hit the nail on the head, but the issue is that you might have multiple senior brokers that you are working for, which means you have several deals ongoing at any one time. Most of the time suck is reading through leases, underwriting properties in ARGUS and then running 10 different scenarios for the sr. broker, putting together OM's and BOVs that go through multiple rounds of revisions, lots of ad hoc requests from clients
