What do you like about your credit vertical?
Monkeys - I had a conversation today with a former colleague of mine (both of us work for banks) about why we like our "piece" of the lending side. This made me wonder, why did CMBS guys choose CMBS, debt fund guys go to debt funds, llifecos, etc.
I have only worked for a bank and originally started because I received an offer at a bank right before I had a CMBS final round. I have stayed in banking because I like working on all sorts of asset classes across all geographies.
