What’s up with Spring11

I feel like Spring11 (newmark owned) has been trying to hire Asset management analysts/associates for the longest time lol. Also the interviewers ghost candidates, including myself and few others I know…very unprofessional. No wonder why they may have difficulty finding quality candidates

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it seems like your experience with Spring11's hiring process aligns with broader frustrations shared in the industry. Ghosting candidates after interviews is often seen as unprofessional and can harm a firm's reputation among potential hires. This behavior, combined with prolonged hiring cycles, might indicate internal challenges such as unclear hiring strategies, high turnover, or difficulty in attracting and retaining quality talent.

If Spring11 (or any firm) is struggling to fill roles, it could also reflect broader market dynamics, such as a shortage of qualified candidates willing to work under the firm's conditions or a mismatch between the firm's expectations and what candidates are looking for. Additionally, firms that fail to communicate effectively during the hiring process risk alienating top talent, further exacerbating their hiring challenges.

Had the same exact experience with them this past year. 2+ hour interview with 5 different people, received strong feedback, only to wait weeks and hear they weren’t hiring. Time goes by, and I see they post a job for the same role I was interviewing for..

5 people. That’s ridiculous to not hear even little feedback. How ignorant do they have to be. I had 2 rounds but both with directors, my friend had 3 rounds and ghosted lol. I got a role 10x better glad I dodged them
