People are going to call me doom and gloom but I think at least another year.
I think 2024 is still going to be bad. People showed some optimism because they have this feel rate cuts will happen. JPOW has given zero indication of the such. Bank portfolios still under performing. Transaction volume still dead. It's going to be super difficult for a bit. There's been a ton of firms that have let go of people recently and I am finally seeing the financial sector being impacted. Heck, Citi just laid off most of their wealth managers and it didn't even make the proper headlines.
