Who should I be following up with post interview?

I have had a few interviews with a team, my last interview was a week ago and I met with the rest of the team that was not included in the first interview (two managers and analyst). I have not interviewed with HR, as I kind of bypassed that step. I followed up with someone on the team, who coordinated the interviews, but they said they do not have news but believe someone should be reaching out to me. I would like to try and follow up tomorrow but I'm not sure if I should reach out to one of the managers I have interviewed with, or HR? As mentioned, I never interviewed with HR or spoke on the phone at all, but I do have a contact that is in HR but I'm not sure if they are being included in the process or up to date on possible news. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I’m just curious as to why you want to follow up. Any particular reason in mind? Trying to see whatever consideration you are thinking about it, if it is even worth following up on and what you will gain from following up.

It feels self-explanatory, but I'm eager about this position, it has been around a week since my last interview/contact, and I would like to know where I'm at in the hiring process. Is there a negative with following up for updates after a week since the last interview? I held the belief that this was standard practice, but I may be wrong.
