I work at Starwood AM - weekends are protected for my team. The only times we work weekends are end of quarters or one-off fire drills.

I would imagine that somewhere like Starwood, which owns ungodly amounts of properties, would have quite a busy asset management arm.
had an analyst friend who worked at BX. in office every day 8/9am until 10pm in a full suit. WFH until 1/2am. he said no weekend work. this was like early 2022 though, not sure what it is like now.
