WSJ Prime - Forward Curve?
Hey guys -
My firms uses a boutique capital placement firm who prices their floating debt at WSP + spread.
Currently using a SOFR forward curve to project out rates, was wondering if anyone had any reliable sources of WSJ prime rate projections.
Any insight is appreciated !
I have no idea personally but these are my first two thoughts (sorry if you have already considered these):
1. would your partner share their rate source, or calculation method?
2. is there a historical correlation between prime and SOFR that you could use to reasonably estimate future prime rates using SOFR?
