2 INTERNSHIPS IN SUMMER
Hey guys,
I am doing PE internship at a boutique till late September, but I can switch to an IB boutique next month. If I do that, then I will spend 6 weeks in the PE and 6 weeks in IB. Do you think 2 internships in 1 summer is bad, should I stay in PE?
Btw my aims is to apply to 2021 IB internships next term.

What kind of PE (regional? Large cap?) And what kind of boutique?

Both are regional and not large cap. What do you think?
I would stick to one if it has normal IB houtrs (+14h) if not its ok to do both, but be careful how you list it, make sure they dont overlap

Also if anyone has feedback, I'm doing 2 internships during summer (both remote) would it be looked down on/weird? in the case i'll only leave the more prestigious one on

I did two internships simultaneously; try to do one in the morning - afternoon and one in the afternoon-late night. See if the firm is fine with that
How did you list them in your CV?
First was in-person and the second was remote - I just put the one that had more clout at the top of resume followed by the other. When people see the same dates it always leads to a question which shows your work ethic really well
just do both internships
Why would it be bad? It’s good to see how PE and IB both work together. It should be good to do both especially since you probably can choose to be remote which would alleviate time constraints rn.
