Accounting Scholarship on Resume = Bad?
How would bankers perceive a merit based scholarship from a student accounting society? Merit based as in based on GPA and grades in accounting classes.
I ask because the sense on WSO is that accounting is back office s...t that a lot of bankers view negatively. Also, could listing this scholarship possible make bankers think someone is not super committed to IB and is spending more time with potential accountants at the accounting society than networking with bankers? I think you get my point on this.
