too much white space, too many classes listed causing the education space to be 50% of your resume (dont need to say three different types of accounting, or the actual exact classnames. finance, accounting, economics, stats; make it simple)
Did you do nothing as a congressional intern? That's the only one that sounds interesting and yet you are not showing you did anything worth mentioning.
Looking at your resume, I have no idea what you desire to do. If I had to guess Politics? So banks will say the same thing, need to attempt to orientate towards the field you are trying to get into
Sorry for the brash advice but its necessary
Looks like the congressional internship starts in Jan 2013, hence no bullets.
I agree there is too much white space... can you add more details to your other past experiences? Also, I might recommend that you add a line at the very bottom listing some of your interests, to show a bit more of your personality and create the possibility that you and your interviewer might have something in common.
^ Yo boss look closely at the dates for his congressional internship again..hasnt happened yet. I agree that the education section takes up the majority of the page. List the certificate right after the MBA info and remove the space, assuming that the certificate is from the same school. Is your minor in english really worth an entire line on your resume?? I would either remove that or add it on to the same line as you degree/major.
Why did you go to Texas Tech
why are you getting an MBA with no experience. and beyond that from a shit school. noobacabra.
No point in blacking out the school if your leaving the town.
The user name gives it away too
Thanks for the people who actually gave resume advice. I'm here to have my peers help me develop a better resume, so please do not trash my school. I'm a proud Raider and a proud Texan. I have no plans to ever attend a northeastern school, nor do I plan on ever moving to New York. I'm just looking for resume help, work experience suggestions, and things I can do to break into finance.
