can i put my community college GPA on transcript?

I've just transferred to a top tier university from a community college as a junior. But got 3.5 during first semester. I had a 3.9 gpa in my community college. Can I average those?

No, you cannot average the GPA of the two schools. What you can do, and I recommend that you don't, is put both schools on your resume and list the GPA earned at both schools.

yeah I don't think I want to do that either. However I think it's stupid to not put my 3.93 GPA on the transcript. I worked hard for it and although community college classes is significantly easier, the classes i took, ( all the accounting classes, macro/microecon) should still count as something, right?

You can still list on your resume that you took those accounting/economics courses..... working hard for that 3.93 did pay off in the end - you got into a top tier school that is how you have to look at it.

Just mention that you transferred from a state school with a 3.9 because you wanted a more competitive and well renowned business program. A lot of people transfer schools in their first couple years.
