Chances for spring weeks

I'm wondering if I have a realistic chance of securing Spring Week opportunities with my current profile.

I understand that my A-level results are pretty bad; but, I did manage to gain some experience through various work experience programmes.

A considerable portion of information has been redacted, so I apologise if the structure or content is unclear.

Also, should I include my official AS-level Further Maths result (not predicted) on my CV, or is it better to leave it out?

Thanks in advance!

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some insights and advice for your situation:

  1. Spring Week Opportunities:

    • Work Experience: Highlight any relevant work experience you have. Even if your A-level results are not strong, demonstrating practical experience can be a significant advantage.
    • Skills and Achievements: Focus on any skills or achievements that are directly relevant to the roles you are applying for. This can include any financial modeling, analysis, or other technical skills you have developed.
  2. Including AS-level Further Maths:

    • Relevance: If your AS-level Further Maths result is strong and relevant to the roles you are applying for, it can be beneficial to include it. This can help demonstrate your quantitative skills.
    • Context: Make sure to provide context for your results. If your overall academic performance has improved since your A-levels, highlight this progression.
  3. General CV Tips:

    • Conciseness and Relevance: Ensure your CV is concise and only includes relevant information. Avoid including details that do not highlight relevant skills or experience.
    • Professional Experience: Separate professional experience from other types of experience, such as volunteer work or extracurricular activities. This helps to clearly demonstrate your career progression and relevant skills.

For more detailed advice, you can refer to the WSO resources on resume reviews and mock interviews to further refine your application. Good luck with your Spring Week applications!

Fellow Warwick undergrad here, I don't know if your redactions have changed the formatting of the document, but if not you should probably polish up your date tabs, and maybe make the bullet point icons a bit larger. Furthermore, you might want to consider listing some interests at the bottom if you have the space for it.

As for your main question, I am asking the same for myself, but life goes on even if you don't get one mate.
