Cover Letter Advice? Consultant Switching to IB/PE

Thoughts on this cover letter for someone looking to switch from big four consulting to IB?

My name is Kasowaso and I am a financial consultant at ABC Consulting with over three years of experience in financial modeling, growth strategy, financial management, entry-to-market, and customer strategy. Since graduating from the University of XXXXXX with a BSE in Biomedical Engineering, I have worked at both boutique firms as well as larger players such as my current employer. Through numerous financial and customer strategy projects and courses, I have developed my financial acumen, learned accounting & auditing skills, as well as developed a passion for financial modeling. Additionally, working directly with senior leadership (including C-Suite), I have continuously fostered strong client relationships which have proved to increase service value.

While my professional background is not one of standard investment banking applicants, it demonstrates my strong work ethic, advanced quantitative and financial skills, as well as an ability and desire to self-motivate and learn at an exponential pace. I’d appreciate an opportunity to apply my skills to a strong team at BANK ABC and further develop career in finance. If you need supplementary information regarding my credentials, I am available at (000) 333-3333. I look forward to speaking with you soon and thank you for your consideration.
