FDD resume & listing deals advice
After working for 1 year in financial due diligence, I am not sure how best (or if at all) to list deals on my CV.
1) What $$$ amount to put?
Out of the 7 deals I have worked on, only 1 has publicly gone through, at an undisclosed amount. So I was thinking something like
"Buy side / target revenue : $$$ / industrials"
Most of my work is buy-side with clients of several $bns but I assume it only makes sense to put the revenue of the target even though they're much smaller since that's what the analysis is of?
2) my role
90% of my work is reformatting statements, then I have done some basic trend graphs, sales/volume and ebitda bridges, stock ageing analysis, and slide writeups. I have not reinvented the wheel, it's mainly using templates and I don't know how well I'd be able to discuss it in an interview (which is a separate issue in itself). I've heard people say "if you didn't do much, don't list it", but does that apply to juniors too?
Thanks!
