Finance/Accounting Intern? | What should I write for bullet points...

So I'm currently interning with a startup this summer -- company was founded in 2013. The company itself manages numerous multi-family complexes throughout the United States.

I was hired as a "data analyst" intern -- but ended up becoming an accounting intern. In college my major is Finance and I am a rising junior, just looking to see how I can present my internship on my resume.

Could I title my position as "Finance/Accounting Intern"? I have been reviewing financials all summer -- P&L Statements, T-12 Reports, Budgets, etc. After reviews I have been creating journal entries for accruals, reclasses & prepaids, then writing Variance Reports for property owners to review.

So far I have drafted these points: • Reviewed P&L Statements and Trailing 12 Reports to adjust ledger accounts for accruals, reclasses, and prepaid • Illustrated budget and actual record financial variances through writing of monthly Variance Reports for presentation to owners of multi-family complexes, • Utilized RealPage, Inc. Software to complete Accounts Payable Purchase Order and Invoice entries

Is there another way to write what I've done for more of a Financial appeal - as I am planning for a Finance internship next summer.

Thanks, WSO!
