GPA as a transfer

Hello everyone, I'm a second semester sophomore and recent transfer to a top West Coast school. This is my first semester here and hasn't been an easy transition due to some personal reasons. This has tanked my grades and I'll probably end up with around a 3.3 gpa for this semester. However I have done really well my other 3 semesters of college and had a 3.9 from a reputable private school. For recruiting purposes can I combine theme and leave it on my resume as  “Cumlative College GPA” so I'm above the gpa threshold. It feels silly to be judged off of just 4 classes and have to list the 3.3. Thanks for all your help in advance.

I think you should be fine. I had a friend who was a transfer and he came in with 60 credits and a 3.9. First semester was a little rough and his GPA at the new Uni was around a 3.4. It should be ok just as long as you are prepared to show transcripts from both universities.
