Help would be apperciated

I attend a non target university and recently added on a finance degree. I have had no experience in finance at this time and am sending this off for internships in 2015. Any comments are appreciated. I am hoping for luck in the PE sector.

First thing that stands out: Change the format. Use the M&I template - don't modify it / add colours or anything like that.

I would also really try and expand on the points you have listed, its very difficult to understand what you actually did and what skills were used. e.g. "Lead a team of RAs in their day-to-day duties" - This should really be expanded to talk about what some of the duties are, why you did them, and the results. You could potentially change this to: "Led a team of RA's in their daily duties such as monitoring student activities and conducting meetings, resulting in an increase in student involvement at various activities and events" WSO articles / discussions on how to improve your resume.

I'd agree with Mr. Bateman. Last year, I probably went through 30 iterations of my CV before I finally got it to where I wanted. I say this because you should know that it's normal to spend a lot of time perfecting the piece of paper that you rely on to represent you when applying for jobs.

My thoughts: 1. The overall format kinda sucks. 2. You should try to change your CV so that it reads as a list of accomplishments, not a collection of tasks and responsibilities. List your 3 or 4 greatest achievements at each of your jobs in clear, measured ways. Impress the reader. 3. Also, you need to fix the typos you currently have in your resume (e.g. Dean's list, led a team, etc.).
