Any other tips would be much appreciated, thanks.

Please let me know what I can do to improve my resume. I'm currently a 2nd-year MBA at a non-target school that is finding it difficult to get interest for full-time positions at middle market firms.

I've been interning as an Investment Banking Associate since November, 2010, but most of the work I have done on firms that we haven't completed transactions with yet. Otherwise, I saw a couple of other resumes that are more specific in terms of transactions and deal-type.

Any tips are much appreciated.

Personally, I would move your extracurricular involvement for both undergrad and MBA to the bottom in a new section titled 'Activities' or 'Interests', whichever is most applicable to the activity.

Undecided as to whether I like the underlined skill followed by the description...

ccraVery odd layout. I would stick to a more conventional resume format. Look here for examples:

Also, kill the consulting and PE/VC club line. Does not look good when you're applying to IB positions.

Thanks for the input. Would the layout be ok if I just moved the Experience to the top and the Education below?

No, education section should be on top. It's the underlined skill followed by bullet point that looks odd.

Odd because you haven't seen it before or odd b/c it doesn't flow right? I adopted it off a consultant's resume. Not saying it is applicable here, but I liked how it highlighted what I had/have done.

You think I should create generic transactions and list what I have done?
