IB resume review - rising sophomore

Canadian university, not western or queens, just looking for any helpful comments and possible changes - was going to get this written professionally but I'm having a bit of a liquidity problem!

Thanks!

P.S: this resume will be sent to some contacts in consulting and Ibanking in Canada and London if that helps in any way.

-No full stops at the end of bullets, especially if you're not even going to be consistent about it -Round your GPA to one significant figure -"09/ 09/2009" - you have an extra space; also, you should just use years for school -Your top work location seems to have a full stop at the end; I can't think of any reason that would be -Middle East is a proper noun -You use "Jordan's" twice in one sentence -You need to give more details on your projects and what you did; leading with "worked on" is not going to impress anyone -"Researched over 5" - do you think I struggle to comprehend single digit numbers? -Write out numbers according to MLA rules -I'm not sure what this Canadian Finance Association is, but it looks like bullshit; I'd lose it -Is there some reason, other than your inattention to detail, that you have no divider line under your skills header? -How can you claim to be fluent in English and not know the difference between a colon and a semi-colon, neither of which were appropriate for the sentence? -No one gives a fuck if you can use Office, and I can guarantee you that you are not to any standard that would be considered proficient

CNB90 Cool it bud, I asked for advise not my ass handed to me - I'm sure you were the resume writing pro you are now when you were a rising sophomore.

I wouldn't sweat anyone else being "mean" to you. Pretty sure no one is gonna help you with this resume now

Reality hits you hard, bro...

Yes, lose your right to be treated on an equal basis when asking for advise, it's the price to pay.

Everyone relax. If you ask for help on this board expect to be raped if you don't bring your A game.

Resume looks better. Is there a reason why the education is broken into two segments? I am guessing you transfered. I suppose this is ok, just looks odd to me. Maybe there is a better way to express your transfer without butchering your resume.

  • Kill the MS Office reference. Did you use Bloomberg, Matlab, SAS, CRISP, anything else?

    • Certifications and Trainings should go on the bottom. Put WS Prep with the trainings

    • The last digit of all of your dates need to match up

    • Do something with that bottom finance association. It is screwing up your chronological order

    • Microsoft Office should be capital M and capital O

Whats with the extra bullet point after relevant course work? There is just a bullet an no sentence after.

Wow, I can't believe somebody actually helped out CNB90 after his rude comment....... I guess his school's career resume review service isn't upto par with schools like U of Toronto. My career centre gave my resume a nice cosmetic lift.
