I'm back after a year!! How is my resume now?

I posted here almost exactly one year ago asking advice on how to shape my resume and career to get into a top tier consulting firm. I combined the advice I got here and elsewhere with the plan I had in mind and this is where I've gotten.

in short - yes
make sure you get that chance for an interview (through networking preferably) this resume could get you an interview at MBB from there you are on your own
apply for all their workshops/case competitions/programs around the world meet the employees/get some contacts

I'm going to start networking very soon. I honestly don't know what to do with networking. I can find people but I don't know what to ask. I recently read that there are two overarching questions that we are trying to answer in networking: 1. Is the job/firm a good fit for me? 2. If yes, how can I get it with my current profile?
Do you agree with this?
And that's great advice on applying to the programs! I didn't even know they existed until I searched for them after reading your post.

listen, take my advice with a grain of salt - it works for me because i AM that kind of person, but it might not work for everyone else
how i would do about questions in networking: i would introduce myself to some MBB guy (or whatever your target is) and say in short that i AM passionate about their firm and management consulting etc. - sell myself well basically, maybe add some similarity to that guy (careful about that). i would then say, honestly, that the competition is fierce and that i AM trying to get an edge through networking to set myself better for the recruiting, because i am aware that i wont get many chances. if they came from similar school or background, ask them how they managed to break in. also mention that grabbing a coffee together/talking to them would be nice or something along those lines. i guess that most young employees understand that, and since i come of as a nice, young and genuine dude, they usually like me and help me as much as they can... sometimes is telling me only to mention them in the cover letter, and sometimes they take my cv in and put it on the top of the pile.
make sure that whatever you write is well written, short and that people can relate to it.

p.s. yeah, check those events! firms cover travel expenses... you can visit some nice countries and there is really no downside to it. also, the competition is not that fierce, just make sure you rock the case! afterwards there is usually networking session and job talks.

agree with Flake... maybe bring it up in an interview if you think you are talking to a right person
its a nice thing imo, could be nice for consulting, but its not for everyone and not for the resume... go with some safe team sport or something business related if you dont know what to put there
