Is it ok to put application statistics for an internship on CV (UK)
Just got a pretty prestigious internship and wondered if this was one of the acceptable bullet points to put on the list
- Chosen from over 1,600 applicants to be one of 10 summer interns at the Bank of England
personally don't think it makes sense, but is up to you. It just makes it seem that you didn't really do enough during the internship to have a few solid bullets.
Ah OK - it's actually for something in June, just wanted to literally write one line about it, would it be acceptable in this context or just too boastful?
Yes. Not only for internships, but if you have been chosen for an scholarship or another program, I would definitely put it so that they see it is not some kind of thing that anyone can do
Thanks for the reply - I'm just thinking that people don't tend to write those statistics for summer internships at investment banks normally though? Might seem quite boastful/odd?
