Junior Resume Review- No IB Exp

http://www.razume.com/documents/22023

Been cold-calling every firm remotely related to finance for school-year internships, but not that much looks promising until next semester. I'm looking for a boutique/MM/real estate finance internship for next summer, then planning on an MSF. Thanks in advance for any advice/revisions.

Here's another Private Equity Resume Review thread.

its a numbers game with cold-calling. your patience will be tested and i dont know how much networking youre doing but step your game up on that as well.

Kill the "(in progress)" under coursework ... no one cares if you've completed it or not

"Real Estate Salesperson's License"?? Just "Real Estate License" would sound better

Just put "Volunteer Soccer Coach" under activities ... no need for specifics

"Playing the Drums" Are you fucking kidding me?? Put "musical performance" or some better bullshit.

The first bullet point under "class council" is pointless ... kill it.

Unless you were team captain or something, track and field doesn't belong under experience section- just put "Varsity Track and Field" under activities

Don't put the SAT equivalent ... that looks toolish. people know how to interpret ACTs

Put Managerial Finance and Investments first under the relevant coursework section

Replace "buyer and seller clients" with just "clients"

I think sportswriting is one word

The real estate bullets need work, but i don't feel like dissecting them right now.

Get used to turning comments- that's banking for you.
