Junior Year Resume Review

I am just starting my junior year, and I am starting to freak out about landing a summer internship this summer.

I have decided to apply to a couple of fall internships at boutique PE/IB firms in order to get some more experience on my resume.

I know that my GPA is a weak point, but I think it should be around a 3.6 at the end of this semester and in time for recruiting.

Take a look and help me tear it apart: http://www.razume.com/documents/21563

Observations:

1) Good SAT. Provide the breakdown, esp if you did well in Math. 2) Have you done any modeling or econometrics course? If so, mention that...banks love that shit. 3) Hedge fund internship - delete the whole managed file system thing. You might as well have written got coffee for executives...that sounds like menial labour, even if it wasn't. Also, not sure if I'm a fan of the indent within the Hedge fund description - that's definitely not a standard format and I wouldn't deviate if I were you. In fact, you indent throughout your resume, and I'm not sure if that works man. Maybe ask your college counselor? 4) Delete 'extremely' in 'Extremely proficient in excel'. Sounds desperate.

Good luck!
