PLEASE TEAR UP MY RESUME

Hello,

I am looking for a full-time position in either IBD or Capital Markets. I am currently doing an internship with the DCM department at a BB investment bank. Don't ask me about the odd timing of the internship but I'm lucky enough to have gotten this opportunity.

If possible, I'd appreciate it if you guys could give me some input as to how I should detail my deal experience. Although I've only been working here for a little over a month, I have already seen one deal go though in its entirety. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Dedicate one full bullet to the specific deal that you've seen, and give specific details about the company/deal.

Looks like you've already graduated, but I would still put your Education section first given that your current position is as an intern.

Your Education section seems a little bare. Can you add a line or two about your extracurricular activities? Also, you've used a hyphen in your Post-Baccalaureate Studies line where there should be an en-dash.

Did you intentionally make a distinction between intern and summer analyst?

Your Additional heading is larger than it should be and in all caps as opposed to small caps. Also, you should add a line about interests.

It's not Fitch's. It's Fitch.

Details, details, details! Investment bankers do not tend to be very forgiving about these things considering how important attention to detail is on the job.

thanks a lot. i appreciate the feedback.

in terms of deal experience, should i specifically highlight what i contributed to the deal or detail more about what the team did as a whole?
