Push CV message Template
I am a final year MSc Finance at non target and I am applying to roles in Trading at IB and HF and I am also trying to get pushed by HR by sending a message on LinkedIn saying stuff like "I hope you will take a look at my application" so to give them a reason more to remember my name when scrolling pile of CVs.
I would also like to try get pushed by Analyst or MDs. Do you have message example to suggest? Something that doesn't explicitly say "please push my CV" but gives an input to.
I wouldn't just reach out and tell them to push your CV. Nobody is going to push it like that without speaking to you first since it risks their own reputation and they don't even know you. Get on a call with an analyst/associate/vp and speak to them for 15/20 minutes. At the end mention you have applied for they position and if they have any recommendations on who else to speak to and or anything you should do to get further in the process. If they like you they will say shoot me your resume, if not they may recommend speaking to someone else. Or they'll avoid and you try again. Please dont message people asking them to push your resume.

What? I've read the post. Your post reads like this. "Give me a message I can use to send to people within the firm I am applying to so they can push my resume". My response is that you do not message people saying to push your CV, you will diminish any chance you already had of getting an interview by doing so. Nobody is going to push your resume just cause you messaged them.
No, it is saying: how can I approach an employee in way to get my CV pushed WITHOUT EXPLICITLY ASKING FOR PUSHING.
I just fucking told you, you mongoloid. YOU HOP ON A CALL WITH THEM AND SPEAK TO THEM. There's no special fucking message that you're going to send to someone on LinkedIn that tells them to discreetly say push my CV. You know why? THEY WONT RESPOND. MY response is that DON"T MESSAGE them when you're trying to get your CV pushed because IT WONT HAPPEN you jackass. I SAID this because this is the way to get your resume pushed not some dumbass Linkedin message. If you want to go into IB or HF you have to speak to people, you can't just send them a fucking message all the time. DO YOU UNDERSTAND yet?? Let me repeat in all caps so you understand. THERE IS NO MESSAGE ON LINKEDIN OR EMAIL THAT YOU SEND TO GET SOMEONE TO PUSH YOUR VC, YOU INSTEAD DO IT OVER THE PHONE OVER A CALL. How fucking hard is it to understand this.
