Putting an internship on my resume before the start date + more

Hi,

I'm starting an internship in 3 weeks as a financial analyst for an E&P company and was wondering if it would be alright to put it on my resume now, or if I should wait until I actually start - I ask because a few opportunities have been presented to me which would allow me to start directly after the internship but without the internship my chances of getting into any of these are slim to none.

Also, would this experience be enough to apply directly for graduate analyst positions in investment banking? i'm not working for a bank but I will be doing stuff like financial modelling, helping with pitches to potential investors and doing due diligence on acquisition targets - is this in line with what the banks want? Or should I go after an off-cycle internship with a bank after this rather than a graduate position?
