Question in regards to Series 63 Exam..?

Hi, I'm in a junior year of college, expecting to graduate in less than 2 years. I hoping to work in the financial sector. Well, do you think I should take the Series 63 Exam since it doesn't have to be sponsored and it might look good on a resume? In addition, after i pass the exam, do I have to renew my series 63 license in subsequent years?

There's a ton of exams you don't have to be sponsored for. I've done two for fun and passed them both the first try. I chose the Series 65 because in my state that's all you need to be an RIA. You too can start your empire by taking a single exam - your state might be different. I also passed the Series 3 because I was looking for a little more of a challenge and commodities are interesting to me. The exam wasn't too bad but more math than the Series 65. the Series 3 let's you start a CPO or a CTA which is kinda neat too - one exam gets you all that!

You will look like a complete fool if you have the 63 on your resume alone. Do yourself a favor and don't get yourself dinged for that.
