get rid of the objective, highlight accomplishments using keywords to some extent (software packages, certain skillsets ie; six sigma, whatever engineers use) and m,ove the skillsets / education to the bottom

Unless you've been in the industry for the past 20 something years your resume should not be more than a single page. Your Skills portion is way too long, I've never seen that take up more than 2-3 lines on a resume. Interests and Accomplishments is also far too long. When a recruiter looks at your resume these are the things he/she looks at:

  1. Your School
  2. Your GPA
  3. Your Experience

Maybe it's different for Engineers. Go ahead and disregard everything in that case.
