Nice resume: overall pretty well formatted and good school involvement and internship experience for a rising junior.

3.5/4.00 needs to be changed to either 3.5x/4.00 or 3.5/4.0
Not a fan of the italicized lines under "additional information" I would changed the italicized words there to bold. Maybe consider bulleting each line so that it matches the above sentences.
People tend to under estimate the importance of "interests" You have some good ones, but try to quantify them. For example were you the captain of your high school hockey team? Did you play for 12 years? Write that in parenthesis next to hockey. Are you a good golfer maybe a golf (2 handicap) would grab my intention. I am a good golfer and have plenty of buddies who are interested in golf but can't break 90. A cool new buddy or colleague who can regularly break 80 would absolutely get your resume into the interview pile if I was reviewing (being completely honest).
Your line spacing seems to be larger for the hometown sports store and additional information than for the experiences above that. Make it consistent throughout.
I gave your resume a 30 second overview (which most people will when you apply for stuff) and that is what jumped out, but I did not really read each line super carefully. I have not seen a resume formatted exactly like that before, but the format looks presentable and with the exception of the things I pointed out above everything looks consistent which is great. I like it!
Also, looks like you are getting some pretty good and relevant experience this summer. Anyway good luck with the stuff above. Also, not sure which state school in the midwest but there are plenty of good mm investment banks twin cities/Milwaukee/Chicago. Also, plenty of bb regional offices in chicago. Anyway if IB is really something you are interested in, given your good experience so far and ability to put together a nice resume I bet with some handwork networking you could do it. Anyway think about it and if you decide you want to do it start networking with people in the region asap in the ways that a lot of posts on here discuss.

@humbliepie thanks for the advice. I will start looking into MM IB in the midwest. i may have alumni I can reach out to i am just concerned my gpa will be too low.
also my cumulative comes out to 3.1 even and major to 3.6 even. I listed them as 3.10 and 3.60 because I didn't want it to be assumed that I have a 3.05 and just rounded.

OK, yeah, 3.1 cumulative makes things tougher but certainly not impossible. Listing 3.10 and 3.60 major is good. Network hard and BUST YOUR ASS to get straight a's this year. If GPA comes up, say something like you lacked maturity but are capable of acing your remaining course work, will do so, and have loved your finance classes.

Yeah that's the plan with the grades. I've already brought it up a lot since I fucked around my first 3 semesters. It's just gonna be rough with 18 credits each semester. I pulled off my best grades last semester though with 19.
good stuff, i was in a similar situation. Just keep up the momentum and focus at school. Keep up the hunger and intensity in trying to break in and it'll happen
Your resume is good, so this will mostly be opinion based advice:
-I generally don't like combined experience/leadership. I've been criticized for it many time, and I've never been criticized for separating -I generally prefer more detailed interests. For example, if you're interested in basketball and have played inter-mural basketball it would help to specify. -If you have solid test score (ACT/SAT) list them. If not don't worry about it. -If your font is 12 pt. I find that looks too large in general. However, many people don't care.
Like I said, this is mostly opinion based. In terms of IB, you can break into the MM (if that's ok with your goals). The BB might be attainable but is probably out--at least I found it really hard to get interviews there.
Saw on your resume that you're in Beta Alpha Psi? Have you been to their regional meetings or summer national meetings? They have a ton of recruiters for the big four at these events, great way to network.

@cheesebeans I just joined last semester since that was the earliest I could since I just met the requirements. I haven't gone to anything besides info sessions and I'm working abroad all summer so I couldn't go to summer events either. In the fall I'll go to all the networking events though because a lot of companies come to my school for info sessions exclusively for BAP
