SA Resume Review - Junior at semi target

Hi guys,

I'm a junior at a semi target/regional target and looking to apply for SA positions in the coming cycle.

I don't have any finance related experience - and that's a bih disadvantage - but over the past 6 months I've been taking courses, reading (well always did that) and joining relevant clubs.

I'll be grateful if someone could give some feedback regarding my resume.

Thanks!

Work experience section needs work, but the leadership section is solid. As ^ said, move relevant coursework to the relevant areas.

Be more results oriented in your bullet points. Don't only say what you did, but what were your results, and where applicable, how did you add value?

I.e. -- why did you analyze the oil price trends? for reference, a good point is "assisted in analysis of a Polish Air Force centrifuge to identify and correct recurring problems successfully"

ALSO --- not sure about the "favorite reads" section (non-traditional, might work for a tech-related spot but not sure IBD appreciates "cute" touches to the resume). Nonetheless, that's a great list --Black Swan was an especially interesting read.

hey i like your format...if im not mistaken its slightly diff then the MI one. any chance you can forward me a template?

thanks....

Keep your date formatting consistent i.e. don't label months in one description and a season the next.

You have an excellent GPA for an engineering major but you need stronger work experiences.

You'll graduate in 2013???? For a rising junior this is pretty good. Goodluck then!
