Senior - Can't get any interviews or replies from regional boutiques for FT - even smaller 2-3 people shops don't respond
Recruiting for IB - Senior student about to graduate - can't seem to get any responses (either for coffees or asking for FT openings) from anyone. I'm emailing regional boutiques as well as smaller boutiques.
Really appreciate any advice!

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here’s what you need to focus on:
Refine Your Networking Approach: If you're not getting responses, it might be time to tweak your strategy. Instead of directly asking for FT openings, focus on building relationships. Reach out to alumni or professionals for advice on their career paths and insights into the industry. People are more likely to respond when they feel they’re offering guidance rather than being asked for a job outright.
Target Smaller Firms Strategically: Smaller boutiques and regional firms often have less structured hiring processes. Keep in mind that many of these firms may not know their hiring needs until later in the year. Continue reaching out, but also consider offering to intern (even unpaid) to get your foot in the door.
Leverage Alumni Networks: If your school has an alumni directory, search for alumni in investment banking or related fields. Alumni are often more willing to help, especially if you approach them with genuine curiosity about their experiences.
Cold Emailing Tips: Personalize your emails. Mention something specific about their firm or their career that caught your attention. Keep it concise and professional. If you’re not getting responses, follow up politely after a week or two.
Expand Your Options: If IB is proving tough, consider related fields like private wealth management, asset management, or even family offices. These roles can provide valuable experience and a potential pathway back into IB later.
Perfect Your Interview Skills: If you do land an interview, make sure you’re ready. Study technical questions and practice behavioral responses. Even if you’re not getting interviews now, being prepared will pay off when the opportunity arises.
Stay Persistent and Positive: It’s easy to feel discouraged, but persistence is key. Keep networking, refining your approach, and exploring every avenue. Many success stories come from those who didn’t give up.

Looks standard. These are unlikely to be your issue but some of the wording and formatting could be improved.
The line spacing made it distracting and several lines could be cleaned up by reducing the lists of terms.
