Should I put deal experience on resume for internship application?

For context, I am a second-going-on-third year undergraduate student and am currently applying for summer internships. I have had 2 past internships that are deal-based. However, none of them have closed while I was there and as an intern, I wasn't allowed to heavily involve myself with all the deal processes. So my question is, should I put what deals I have done, and if so, how should I put it? Another factor of concern is that, if I put a specific deal on my resume, I am afraid the interviewer will ask very specific questions on it and I might not remember it correctly since it was over a year ago. Thanks.

With as little as I know about your experience, here’s what I would do.

Definitely don't mention exactly what the deals were, be ambiguous about it. Either way (since you don’t remember a lot) putting those details would work against you - they might be curious and ask questions. Also - what do you mean "should I put what deals I have done"? I think just focus on the role you played in working these deals - with no mention of whether they closed or not. That way, even if they do ask you questions, it will literally be on what you did - not on the deal itself.

Resume-wise, don't emphasize that you "worked in a team", instead empathize what you lead as part of that team.

For example-

WRONG: Worked as part of a team that created XYZ app.

CORRECT: Lead front-end development that created XYZ app.

Hope that helps!

“Should I put what deals I have done”

“None of them have been closed”

My brother in Christ what exactly got done then😂 All jokes aside it’s probably worth leaving some room for question, the more detail you provide the more room you’re giving yourself to get grilled (not to mention confidentiality)
