But one thing, you my friend are so lucky to have found your interest in finance this early, especially in the UK, you'll stand out far far above others with early internships.

to be completely honest, I hate finding the interest early on as all I want to do now is get into financce. and thanks for the advice

That's a sweet deal if you can get that. Early interest is very valuable but don't let it side track you from the less academic activities available to you at uni. Never again will you be able to go on a week long bender, miss those days.
