Tear Me Down
Hi guys.
I'm an options trader at a BB with about 5 years' experience and I run several books.
Now that I've got some experience I've started looking at the buy-side; I've also been contacted by recruiters, etc., so I'm in need of a resume. Frankly, I haven't worked on my resume seriously since college ended.
Attached is what I came up with quickly. I'm guessing it's not very good but seriously, I'm horrible at resume writing/talking about myself. Would really, really appreciate if you guys had a go at it. Please don't hold any punches.

I think its really good. The last three bullets however, they might be a bit outdated. Nice GPA/Scores, how'd you get so smart?
Hey thanks for the quick reply, sorry didn't get back sooner.
Yeah basically my problem is transitioning from a "college" resume to an "IRL" resume. I could/should remove more university related stuff but I feel like I don't have much more to blah about and do want to fill out a full page haha.
And thanks re GPA...I certainly feel like I've gotten stupider since leaving college haha.

Is there any reason that your high school is still on your resume? You may also want to get rid of club involvement that you haven't participated in in five years. Also, the coursework is largely irrelevant at this point, because it pertains to skills that you've been using at work.
No reason other than it's from my old resume.
If I get rid of HS, clubs, etc--what do I put instead?
Any involvement you've had since then, more on the job you've had for five years, etc. I don't think that you're going to be getting a ton of questions or value out of having your HS/UG clubs on your resume as you near 30. If you really don't have anything else to replace it with, you can leave them on, but I would think that with five years you'd have slightly more content to throw on.
