To include a former company I ran or not in resume/interviews

For context, I am an older student at a top target school with a high gpa and a lot of real world experience. Prior to school I was in the military for 4 years. When I got out, I started a real estate investment company focused on wholesaling residential off-market properties. I did this for the summer before school and part-time during the school year. Personally, I think this experience relates very well to IB as it required meeting with my investors, conducting market research for properties that fit their ideal investment, evaluating properties as an investment, and negotiating with property owners—all skills that I think are transferable to IB

Last year I recruited for IB and had around 20+ interviews with different firms (excluding hirevues which was a lot) and 3 super days, 2 with BB. My issue was not getting interviews. I realized early my issue was technicals and lack of networking, due to starting late and not understanding what I was getting into as I'm a first generation college student and didn't know much about banking. After a month or so my technicals and behaviorals got very good and I was nailing them in the following interviews. But, I couldn't land an internship, even outside of IB in some corporate and asset management positions. I thought my experience with running a company helped me a lot, but now I'm starting to question whether it is hindering me from securing an internship. I try to convey how the experience has prepared me for positions like this and maintain that I've shut it down to focus on getting into IB. So my question is, if you were interviewing someone like me with this experience, would this intrigue you or deter you from wanting to push me through to the next rounds or an offer?
