2-Year Rotational Program Analyst Considering B-School - Too Early?

Considering a "career pivot" (if it's not too early to call it that) into Management Consulting/Strategy in Media and Entertainment and I am heavily considering an MBA as a means to that end. So, I've decided my internal struggle to WSO and see if you all can shed some light on it.

First, a bit of background. I'm in the first year of a middle office post-grad rotational program at a bulge bracket bank. I graduated in Spring 2019 from a top 25 school with a 3.5 GPA, a major in history and a minor in Econ, and I am projecting ~740 on the GMAT.

I've read many times that one should have 3+ years work experience before attending b-school. However, considering the structure of a two-year rotational program, each year with strategy-oriented roles, I wanted to see whether it might make sense for me to attend immediately after the program, rather than finding another job for 1-2 years.

My top school is NYU Stern. My reaches (in my head) are Columbia (CBS) and Wharton. Other schools I am considering are Marshall(USC) and Anderson(UCLA).

My questions are: 1. Will applying Winter 2020 for enrollment in Fall 2021 (which means applying and then enrolling with 1.5 and 2 years of work experience, respectively) be too early for me to get into my desired program(s), even considering a bulge bracket 2-year program?

  1. Even if I am able to get into one of these programs, does my 2 years of work experience put me at such a great a disadvantage, in terms of getting MBA internships and post-grad associate roles, that enrolling that early won't be worth it? (Goal would be to join an MBB or Big-4 Consulting firm)

To be clear, I have zeroed in one what I want to do, and feel that b-school is the best way to do it, so my current options are between enrolling in 2021, 2022, and, in the extreme case, 2023.

Thank you in advance for your help.
