Actuarial Science/ statistic adjacent minor for IB?
Greetings! I'm currently attending a large non-target school in the South Eastern US, where I'm going for a Finance Undergrad. I recently met my school's requirements to go for a minor/ dual degree.
Since I'm at a non-target school I'm looking to see what I can add to my resume to make myself stand out. I feel like getting a minor in Actuarial Science would look great. It would also meet the requirements for a statistics minor. How much would this help bolster my job prospects in IB? Would it be worth it to go the extra mile and get a Double Major in Finance and a Statics adjacent field?
Unless u plant to do quant or like risk management work I would imagine not
