@Cries - thanks man, I really appreciate all the info and advice. You were a big help.
I lived in a dorm/school-owned apartment complex for the first semester, then moved in with my current girlfriend, who was also an MSF student.
The dorms suck, but you seriously cant beat it in terms of a quick commute. A lot of the MSF people lived at One North, which requires a bus ride. But its much more spacious and much cheaper compared to the dorms.
How did you already manage to develop a relationship with the department? lol
Well I visited a while back and have been in contact freqently... and I ask a ton of questions too so I'm probably just a nuisance haha
